Permanent make up, also known by other names like cosmetic tattooing, semi-permanent makeup, soft tap or microblading, micropigmentation, and feather brows, this is a service that can help enhance and define facial features. It is a form of cosmetic tattooing that can fade over time and require periodic touch-ups, but is considered permanent as the colour cannot be washed off. Many refer to this service as Semi-Permanent make up, however they are both the same service.

Microblading

Powder/Ombre
Microblading is the most natural form of eyebrow enhancement. Using a specialised manual blade, the semi-permanent eyebrow pigment is implanted just under the skin by each individual hair stroke being drawn to mimic natural hair in your brows. It is important to note that if you prefer a more shaded in, makeup look, microblading is not for you. Additionally, this treatment is not ideal for everyone including those with oily skin types, mature or damaged skin, and clients with little to no brow hairs. Initial Appt $235 4 Week Touch $185
Combo: Microblading + Shading. Combination Brows, also known as Combo Brows, is a unique semi-permanent makeup technique which combines both microblading and shading to create a fuller, more defined brow. This technique adds powdered, soft, dusty colour throughout the brow - between the microbladed textured look from hair strokes - to achieve softer and fuller brows. It is a better option for oily/combination skin, clients with sparse eyebrows, or if you prefer a slightly more dramatic look than what micro-blading can give. Shading can be done sheer to medium coverage, giving you the perfect brows for years to come. Initial Appt $285 4 Week Touch $235
Our Ombre Powder Brows are created with a machine to give a powdered makeup look, with the edges being very clean as it is done with a smaller configuration of needles. It is an ideal choice for most skin types and for clients who have had previous work, just as long as it is light enough and not discoloured. This semi-permanent makeup technique helps to create a more defined brow shape and frame your face beautifully. The results of Ombre Powder Brows are a powdery finish to help give the illusion of fuller eyebrows. It is a great way to enhance your natural beauty and create a more polished look. COMMON QUESTIONS.
Do I have to come in twice for my eyebrows? Depending on the clients eyebrow goals, sessions will vary person to person. Roughly 20% of clients only need one session because they either want an extremely natural look, or have more brow to work with naturally. 70% of clients will want/need a second session to build sheer layers of colour for the best result. 10% of clients will need a 3rd session due to health, skin type and how it heals which cannot be guaranteed, and other factors.
How often do I need to come back after my initial appointment & touch up?After your initial microblading appointment, a touch-up is generally needed anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks to perfect the brows and ensure the pigment is fully set. This touch-up allows us to refine the shape, correct any areas that may have faded or healed unevenly, and ensure the final result is just right. However, beyond this first touch-up, I recommend stretching out the time between future touch-ups as much as possible. I personally believe it's best not to exceed four touch-ups in your lifetime, as over-saturating the skin with pigment can lead to rejection or irritation. Waiting longer between touch-ups helps protect the health of your skin and keeps the microblading looking natural and vibrant without causing long-term damage. As always, it’s important to listen to your own skin and adjust your approach accordingly.
